    In this moment I sit here with the windows of my studio apartment open, listening to the foot traffic and chatter of the world outside. The world out there is full of roaming homes, bodies with a story and faces with character. Every single one is a breathing miracle. I find it fascinating that every person I will come across today and every person I came across yesterday was created on purpose. Every single person so hugely distinct from the other.     I started this blog two years ago today. And I used to wonder what sparked it. Sure, it was a ‘creative outlet.’ But it ended up being so much more. Now I realize—I just granted myself permission. Permission to feel exactly how I feel. To have the guts to sit with those feelings, and tell them that they’ve been felt.     Goodbye Tokyo

    One week ago I said goodbye to Tokyo… And I was more emotion than human. After spending three months in this place, I can honestly say I wouldn’t change a thing, not even the messy parts. Exploring a new place is like a book. We get out of it what we desire to get. The book itself isn’t going to change. The words don’t magically reshuffle themselves to our liking.     Life update: I moved from Miami to Tokyo. And I must say, there’s something so refreshing about going to a brand new place. I am only here for three months but I have no clue where I’ll be next.
